Seussical Breaks Box Office Records

The Maysville Players first season under Producing Director Mike Thomas went out with a roar, as Sunday's showing of "Seussical-The Musical'' broke box office records for the season. Building on the success of "Lend Me A Tenor," "Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap" and "Nunsense," the summer teen production not only showcased the incredible young talent we have in this community, but also led to lines around the block for Sunday's last performance. Thomas says he has selected the plays for next season, and will announce them soon. A good way to ensure your tickets for productions is to become a Washington Opera House patron. For information, call Thomas at 606-564-3666.
