Seussical Auditions Today And Tomorrow

Auditions for Seussical the Musical—this year's Maysville Players summer youth production--is today and tomorrow. It's open to all in grades 6 and up. There are 20 roles….including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, the Whos and other Dr. Seuss favorites. All roles require singing. Auditions are at 3 p.m. at the Opera Theatre, 116 West Second Street. Please prepare a short song of your choice. You will also be asked to read from the script and complete a simple movement audition. Production dates are July 31, August 1, 2 and 3. For more info call the Opera House at 606-564-3666.
